Your display settings are kept in this browser. No advertising cookies. The room, the illuminant and your comfort settings are what is kept. The practice counts visits with its own first-party statistics — no cookies, no IP address stored. What you send through the booking form goes to the practice’s patient system. No other third-party scripts. Decline and your display settings still work; they just forget when you close the tab. What is stored.

What Enamel Studio collects through this website, and why.

What this site collects

Only what you send us, plus anonymous visit statistics. When you submit the booking form, the details you type — your name, phone number, email, the reason for your visit and any notes — are sent to Enamel Studio so we can arrange your appointment, and are kept with your patient enquiry. The site counts visits with its own first-party statistics: pages viewed and where a visit came from, tied to a random browser id — no cookies, and your IP address is not stored. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected.

No advertising pixels, no tag manager and no third-party analytics are loaded, and no cookies are set by this site.

Local storage — every key, named

These keys in your browser's localStorage, and nothing else:

  • opalesce.v1 — the room (light, dark or follow the system), the illuminant, and your comfort settings: text size, contrast, motion and link underlines.
  • ccs_vid, ccs_sid, ccs_sts — a random browser id and the current visit, for the practice's first-party visit statistics (no cookies). Declining in the storage notice doesn't affect these; your browser's Do Not Track setting stops them.
  • ccs_attr_first (and ccs_attr / ccs_ref insessionStorage) — the campaign and referring site of your visit, sent with a booking request so the practice knows how you found it.

That is the complete list. The display settings are functional state, not tracking, but that is still storage and it is still yours: the notice at the top of the page on your first visit lets you decline, and declining is real. Nothing is written, anything already written is removed, and the site keeps working for the length of the tab. The refusal itself is kept in sessionStorage under opalesce.declined, because recording"do not store anything about me" in persistent storage would be the exact thing you had just refused — which does mean you will be asked again on your next visit.

The display settings never leave your device. Clearing your site data removes everything listed here, and the comfort panel’s reset clears its own share explicitly.

Images

Every portrait of a person on this site — the patient in the hero, and both frames of every before-and-after pair — is a synthetic image generated for this build. None of them is a photograph of anybody, none depicts an identifiable patient, and none records treatment carried out by anyone. The before-and-after frames say so on their own face. A small number of supporting photographs are licensed stock and are attributed in CREDITS.txt in the repository.

Our notice of privacy practices

As a dental practice we handle protected health information. Our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, available at the front desk and on request, sets out:

  • the categories of information collected, including clinical records, radiographs, photographs and payment data;
  • the permitted uses for treatment, payment and healthcare operations, and the uses requiring separate written authorisation — marketing and the publication of clinical photographs among them;
  • the patient's rights to inspect, obtain a copy of, amend and receive an accounting of disclosures of their record;
  • the right to request restrictions and confidential communications;
  • retention periods, which in Arizona are governed by state record-keeping rules;
  • the practice's breach-notification obligations; and
  • how to complain, both to the practice and to the Office for Civil Rights.
